I booked a hotel room for a "songwriting weekend" in Portland, OR and this was one of the results. The scene of this song is: a fellow has it bad for the female singer of a local band (which he is about to go see), but knows everybody else wants her too. Self-doubt, deprecation and hilarity ensue.
